While most beanies are made with acrylic, polyester or some other plastic (eek) based fibers we wanted to make something that actually feels good on your head and you can feel good about wearing. Starting from scratch, we sourced and tested a few different weights of hemp yarn until we settled on a medium weight with a cozy feel. We teamed up with a friend who has a few vintage knitting machines and after a few rounds of sampling for size and shape we found a great universal fit.
